I am not receiving any e-mail notifications - what could be the reason?

Not receiving e-mail notifications about date requests, events, or blogs? Find out here what could be the cause.

It can happen that e-mail providers (such as gmx.de/.com, gmail.de/.com, web.de, etc.) incorrectly classify our website as spam. You can check this by looking in the spam folder of your e-mail inbox. If you find our e-mails there, simply move them to your normal inbox.

Many mail programs also have a button for this (e.g., “no spam”), which you can click to move a message from the spam folder to the normal inbox. Emails classified in this way should be permanently removed from the spam folder and automatically classified as “normal” in the future. This way, you won't miss any more important email notifications!

Use Settings / My Settings / Notifications & Ads to specify which notifications you would like to receive an email for.

As a Plus member, you also have the option of switching off advertising banners.

You can use the browser notifications to specify whether you would like to be informed about dates directly via your profile.

If you have verified a mobile phone number in your profile, you can use the SMS notifications to specify whether you would like to be notified about upcoming dates or KM$ tipping.
