You can find your message in your personal inbox. Once you are logged in you can see how many messages you have received in the so-called header on the top right corner.
Your inbox is divided into 3 sections:
- An overview of all messages
- News from your favorites (so that you can find messages faster of those members, who are higher in your favor)
- Date requests
When you are in your inbox, your messages are displayed in
message threads, which means you'll see the list
of members you've already written on the left hand side. If you
click on one of these threads, you will see your complete
communication with the member (just like on Facebook, for
example).
Use the input field on the top left side to search for member
names within your inbox.
Write your message in the box at the bottom, add smileys or
photos (max. 5 photos per message) and click "send".
You can also send a date request from the message system. Click on the button "request date".
If you click on the symbol below the smileys (3 horizontal lines), you can also do the following:
- Ignore member
- Delete thread
- Mark as unread
- Send "no thank you" message
- Report member
If you send a "no thank you" message, the member concerned will not be able to send you any more messages. However, he is not on your ignore list!
If there is no message history between you and another member and
you send the first message or the first date request to this
member, then this is a so-called
first contact. There are different initial
contact limits for basic and
plus members. There is no message limit on
kaufmich.com.
