Gender and gender identity on Kaufmich

On Kaufmich you have the opportunity to express your gender & identity in several ways so that you can convince escorts or clients even better of you!

Registration and search:

When you registered, you indicated whether you are registering as a “woman”, “man” or “trans*”. This is relevant for you because it makes it easier for other Kaufmich users to find you using the search function (the search filter for this is called “gender”).
The trans* identity is therefore part of this filter to make it easier for trans* users to be found by other users.

Reason: the “Gender” filter is used very frequently compared to other filters!
In the event that you have entered your “gender” incorrectly and want to change it, please contact support. A change is only possible once!

Sexuality:
You also have the option of specifying your sexuality and can choose between heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual. You can only select one option under “Sexuality”.

Gender identity:
This filter says more about how you view yourself from your own perspective, regardless of the opinions of society or other people.
You can only select one option under this filter, and the selection is optional.

  • What does cis mean?

If you describe yourself as cis, it means that you agree with the identity you were assigned at birth and embody it outwardly. Other people on the street then superficially see you as a “typical” woman or man.

Example: I am a man by sexual gender (by birth) and express this through my behavior and clothing in everyday life, and have no problem showing myself like this in public. The same applies to you as a cis woman.

  • What does non-binary mean?

If you don't feel like a woman or a man, as society wants you to per sexual gender, then you describe yourself as non-binary. You are yourself and do not identify as a “typical” man or woman. Let others know in your profile descriptions how you perceive yourself personally and what clients or escorts can expect when dating.

Example: I am registered as an escort with the gender “woman” entered, but with the new filter I see myself as non-binary.

  • What does queer mean?

And what if you favor both directions (man and woman at the same time)? Or you don't feel like one type or the other and/or you find the term non-binary inappropriate? Or, or, or... Then enter this under the new filter “Queer” so that other users know about it.

Example: if you are registered as an escort, and you want to show clients that you can identify much better with one gender role than the other. Or if you are an escort yourself and find that this whole distribution of roles does not appeal to you, or you simply feel and would describe yourself completely differently, then enter “Queer” in the new filter.
